MYSTERY OF THE 144,000…THE REPLACEMENT PRIESTS IN THE HEAVENLY SANCTUARY FOR THE FALLEN ANGELS…

Jesus (Yeshua) told His disciples that there were other things He wanted to tell them, but they were not able to hear the things He had to reveal. This should tell us there are mysteries that we may not be ready to hear yet as individuals and as a group.

John 16:12, I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

There are many popular teachers saying that the 144,000 are going to be anointed evangelists during the Great Tribulation. It’s a popular theory, but is it scriptural? Is there any foundation for it? What happens if we simply follow the scriptures.

Remember the events of the unsealing of the scroll by Yeshua happened at the behest of God the Father 2,000 years ago. The book of Revelation opens with God’s search for someone to open the book and nobody can be found to even look upon it.

Revelation 5:1, And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

Think of this scripture as a riddle. This event appears to have occurred before the resurrection of Yeshua. He cannot be found in heaven, in the earth, nor under the earth. So where is He? If you believe He is divine you cannot say that He is not physically located somewhere either in relation to heaven or the earth. So, if he is none of the places listed…he can only be one place…hanging on a cross above the earth…qualifying to open the book.

And the 7 sealed scroll is only opened after the martyrs under the altar complain that God is taking too long in taking vengeance against those who are killing them. God’s reply to them is insightful.

Revelation 6:9, And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Notice this event happens before the vengeance of God is handed out, let alone the events of Daniels 70th Week. Let’s not tip toe around this. They are given their white garments, which for centuries the church has always equated with resurrection bodies. You don’t give someone a gift and tell them not to put it on. Now this raises the question of whether or not it is scripturally possible for the martyrs under the altar to be resurrected before the events of Daniel’s 70thweek and nobody on earth know anything about it. After all there were saints that were raised to life at Yeshua’s resurrection.

Matthew 27:51, And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

No doubt these are also a part of the First fruits resurrection…and it happened 2,000 years ago. Have there been men in heaven over the past 2,000 years? It is entirely likely. You see men serving in the temple in heaven during the final 7 years of the Tribulation…if not at the time of John’s Revelation…2,000 years earlier.

Revelation 19:9, And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. 10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 22:8, And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

This would appear to very clearly show that there are resurrected men serving in heaven in the temple. It could also mean that they are participating in the judgments of Daniel’s 70th week administering the Vengeance of God by sacrificing the Incense mingled with the prayers of the saints.

What I cannot get past is the fact that God tells the martyrs that His plan is for them to wait till the completion of their martyred group is accomplished after a “season”. I gather it is to complete their number. That their group needs a specific number of resurrected martyrs to accomplish their service to God. The book of Revelation is gradually revealing to us the purpose for this group and God’s answer to their prayer. So, everything associated with Daniel’s 70thweek is likely in association with the request of the Martyrs Under the Altar…what their number is…and what their function is.

I would propose that we know this much: the 144,000 are called the First fruits and I believe they are the Martyrs under the Altar.

Revelation 14:1, And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Why do I think they are the Martyrs under the altar and not super powered evangelists on the earth during the tribulation? I’m following the revealing and connecting clues starting with the purpose for the Great Tribulation…answering the prayers of the Saints Martyred for God. They are told to wait until more saints are martyred just like them till their group is full. They take on the Image of Yeshua.

Luke 9:23, And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Having conformed to His image, they have become the Friend of the Bridegroom.

John 3:29, He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

James 2:23, And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

Galatians 3:29, And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

In a wedding you will typically see the groom waiting with the Best Man by his side and then the bride approaches and is presented to him. We see the same imagery with the 144,000 (Friend of the Bridegroom).

Notice this group is typified as the prophetic “male” standing next to the Bridegroom on Mt. Zion singing a song only they are able to learn. They are called the First fruits. First fruits in harvest are harvested first. Let’s follow the pattern. This would mean that the 144,000 are resurrected before the other groups. After the appeal of the Martyrs at the 5th seal and the showing of the fate of those who are murdering the Martyrs at the 6th seal, we are immediately presented the fate of the Martyrs under the altar when their number has been completed.

Revelation 7:1, And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. 7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. 9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Pay careful attention here. This is where many modern popular prophecy teachers get this wrong. They see this angel telling the others to hold off on hurting the earth until these 144,000 are sealed with the name of God. Most assume this angel is coming down to complete this task. But that is not what is presented here. This other angel “ascends” not “descends”.

Revelation 7:2, And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God…

Now some will say he was ascending to tell the other angels what to do. I would propose to you that he is ascending for the purpose of approaching the completed number of martyrs under the altar to anoint them to their task for the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week. They will participate as Priests in the Heavenly Sanctuary administering the judgments of God upon the earth. So, holding off the angels hurting the earth is not for fear of hurting the 144,000. They’ve all been martyred and resurrected before the beginning of the final 7 years of tribulation and will be serving in the temple of God as a Priesthood replacing another group that used to serve in the Heavenly temple, but have been disqualified and subsequently booted out of the temple.

Hebrews 8:4, For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: 5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

Hebrews 9:19, For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Pay careful attention here. Yeshua entered into the heavenly sanctuary to cleanse it from defilement. Some may assume that defilement was caused by fallen man, but what happens in the patterns on earth are a type of what happens in the heavenly sanctuary. The heavenly sanctuary would appear to have become defiled and needed cleansing that only Yeshua could provide. Remember you always have two High Priests, the Melchizedek and the Aaronic (Levitical/Typified by the Friend of God-Abraham). One cleanses and the other is given new garments. Picture Moses serving as the High Priest on the mountain and Aaron down in the valley of the shadow of death needing to be cleansed and given new garments so that he can enter into the Tabernacle of God.

If this pattern holds true then we should be looking for some connection between the Levitical Priesthood and the count of 144,000. We find that the priesthood was divided into 24 courses that would rotate and serve in the temple.

24 Courses of the Levitical Priesthood:

You had to have a specific number and they all had to be male and they all had to be Levites. Coincidentally if you divide 144,000 by 24 it equals 6,000. Considering the fact that man is slated for 6,000 years of exile before the restoration of the Kingdom of God on Earth with Yeshua the Resurrection King sitting upon the throne…I find it interesting that the numbers work so nicely for dealing with an unclean and exiled group of people that need to be cleansed to enter the sanctuary once again. Remember the Sanctuary that Moses was commanded to make was a shadow of heavenly realities.

What does this mean for the 144,000? If they are resurrected before the final 7 years and all of them were martyrs…then those of us alive on the earth will likely never see them during the tribulation for their purpose is to serve as Yeshua’s Priesthood replacing a disqualified group that is cast down to earth.

Revelation 12:4, And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

I’m sorry to give you this section in one bulk reading…but you simply cannot take it any other way. It would appear obvious that this “Man-child” is typified as being all male just like the 144,000. It would also seem obvious that this “Man-child” is identified as “having not loved their lives unto death” and overcoming via the blood of the lamb. This would appear to make the “man-child” (144,000) martyrs that ascend in resurrection life to the throne of God before Satan is cast out of heaven.

The Man-child ascends, Michael and His angels fight Satan. Why? Satan and his angels are trying to hang onto his role in heaven, which is being taken over by the 144,000. Some have mistakenly indicated that the Man-child is Yeshua 2,000 years ago. It simply doesn’t work. The Man-child looks like the Messiah, because they are in His image.

Romans 8:29, For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Only through clarifying that the 144,000 are not on the earth and ascend before the 7 Trumpet judgements can we understand that they replace Satan and his angels who are then cast down. What does Satan do then? He goes to persecute the “remnant of her seed” (Revelation 12:17). Remember these 144,000 are characterized as the “Seed of Abraham”. Some will argue that they can be any believer in Yeshua and I will concede that this could be possible. Considering that they are broken down by tribe I do think it is likely that they are genetically of the tribes of Israel and believers in Yeshua.

Hebrews 11:35, Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

I would contend this better resurrection is to be a part of the 144,000 and serve as a heavenly priesthood replacing Satan and his angels.

We should also keep in mind that before the appointment of the tribe of Levi to be priests of God, the priesthood was actually filled by the firstborn male of each family.

Exodus 13:15, And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the Lord slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.

The conflict of Pharoah vs Yehova (YHWH) is typified by the attempt of Pharoah (Satan) to murder all the firstborn male’s vs Yehova turning Pharoah’s judgement upon his own people and causing Israel’s firstborn males to ascend in life out of the imprisonment of Egypt.

Only through viewing the 144,000 and the Man-child as the new Heavenly Priesthood serving with Yeshua, resurrected first (as First Fruits typically are) can we then understand how Satan and the Antichrist then turn to the “remnant of her seed” and still have believers on the earth during the Great Tribulation. If you resurrect all the 144,000 (martyrs who believe in Yeshua and of the 12 Tribes of Israel) …then you still have left all those who have not been martyred yet and are both of Israel and the Gentile nations, believing in Yeshua and “keeping His commandments”.

I would challenge any prophecy teacher to show any scripture that shows the 144,000 alive on the earth during the Great Tribulation.

What we should be asking ourselves is if Aaron and Miriam, the Pharisees and the Levitical Priesthood, are a prophetic type of Satan refusing to fulfill his heavenly role and mankind’s subsequent exile from the Garden of Eden for the past 6,000 years. Keep in mind I’m not trying to disparage Aaron and Miriam or the Levites. I am pro-Torah. But they, like Moses, are fulfilling a prophetic type within the sanctuary, which is also a heavenly prophetic type. This could give us great insight into the heavenly conflict that has gone on since Adam and Eve took the forbidden fruit.

God did declare that His creation was very good. And in the midst of all that good was the Serpent in the very Garden of God. He was clearly there by God’s permission and Satan is still clearly still in heaven even over the past 2,000 years since Yeshua’s resurrection.

What we should be asking ourselves is if he had a priestly role in God’s heavenly sanctuary and if he refused to do what a High Priest should do…intercede.

Exodus 28:36, And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, Holiness To The Lord.37 And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be. 38 And it shall be upon Aaron’s forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.

Notice the High Priest (Aaron) is marked in his forehead with the name of God…just like the 144,000. His role is to bear the iniquity of the people, so that God would not destroy them. If Satan (Lucifer) was to fulfill such a role and refused to do so with Adam and Eve in the Garden…he would be viewed as a disqualified priesthood. The hallmark of a good priest (intercessor) is to plead on behalf of the people.

Exodus 32:30, And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the Lord; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin. 31 And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. 32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin–; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

Moses, who is prophetic of Yeshua (a reliable intercessor), shows what should have happened in the Garden when Adam and Eve sinned. Why do we think this is a reliable pattern and that Moses is a type of Yeshua and Aaron is a type of Satan? What was Aaron doing while Moses was receiving the Torah from God on the mountain for 40 days?

Exodus 32:22, And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief. 23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. 24 And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.

Before you lose it…remember we are not besmirching the character of Aaron. He is a living walking prophetic type and as such he is walking out a prophecy and a story or reality. While Moses is on the mountain receiving the Torah, Aaron is down in the valley make a false idol (Golden Calf) for Israel to worship. He fails at interceding for the people and makes the very thing that will bring about their downfall. On top of that he blames the people and does not lay himself down for them. No wonder this imagery repeats in the Great Tribulation when Satan is cast out of heaven to the earth.

Revelation 13:11, And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The prophetic type here is stunning. Furthermore, it is Aaron that refuses to partake of the Sin Offering after the death of his two sons for offering strange fire.

Leviticus 10:16, And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron which were left alive, saying, 17 Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the Lord? 18 Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the holy place: ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded. 19 And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the Lord; and such things have befallen me: and if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the Lord? 20 And when Moses heard that, he was content.

Once again Aaron is refusing to do what he was commanded to do in regard to intercession for the people and eating the sin offering. He refused to do so. The possibility that Satan serving as a High Priest in the Garden of Eden and refusing to intercede on behalf of Adam and Eve and letting them bear the penalty of their sin…likely disqualified him as being a faithful high priest and he had to be replaced…along with all those who served with him.

We find this typology of failing to redeem spoken of in the story of Ruth.

Ruth 4:1, Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down. 2 And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down. 3 And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s: 4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. 5 Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance. 6 And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it. 7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel. 8 Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe. 9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.

Notice, if you want to redeem the inheritance you must also redeem the people on it. The nearer kinsman refused to mar his own inheritance to do so. On the contrary Yeshua was unafraid of marring his very own body to redeem the land and the people. Satan would not. You see the same problem with the Pharisees. They wanted to remain in isolation trying to prevent people from associating with them instead of doing what Yeshua said to do. Go out into all nations and preach the Gospel to every creature under heaven. The Pharisees believed interacting with the gentiles would defile them. Yeshua took all our sin upon Himself so as to intercede on behalf of every creature. Thank God!

So, there is the very likely possibility that the resurrection of the 144,000 will not be observed here on Earth by anybody directly. That they are indeed raised first as first fruits before the commencement of the final 7-year tribulation period. Now some will say that can’t be…the graves will break open and the dead will rise first and we will rise to be with them in the air.

Well depending upon your assumptions around what the actual scriptures say there are several logical roadblocks we have to deal with. Let’s deal with the last one first. The rewarding of the saints and prophets appears to happen around the 7thTrumpet.

Revelation 11:15, And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 6 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 7 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 8 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

It would appear very clear that the reward to the servants of God happens at the 7thTrumpet. Now I won’t take a lot of time to go over the fact that there are 7 vials within the 7th Trumpet. And those vials happen over time. Revelation 19:8 shows the overcomers receiving their white garments. So, I don’t know that it serves any purpose to demand at what point after the 7thTrumpet the reward is given. Nor do I think it is impossible for the 144,000 to receive their gift first either before the breaking of the 7th Seal to they can serve as Heavenly Priests with Yeshua during the Tribulation or before Satan is cast down to earth.

Now some will say, no the graves will break open and the dead will rise and us with them. Is that what it really says? Much of Christianity has been debating if Christ comes with His saints or for His saints. What if it is both? What if the 144,000 are raised first, they administer the vengeance of God with the Incense of the Prayers of the Saints, and then Yeshua comes for the “remnant of her seed”?

1 Thessalonians 4:15, For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

What do we know from this section? Those who remain alive at the coming of the Lord won’t keep the dead from being raised first. Afterward those alive in Christ will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord. Is that all…what about verse 14?

1 Thessalonians 4:14, For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

So, which is it? Are the dead in Christ brought with Jesus or are they raised up to life before those who are alive in Christ? Or could it be all three? Could it be the Martyrs (144,000) are resurrected prior to the 7-year Tribulation and are then brought with Christ and as He and they descend, those who are dead in Christ (yet not Martyrs) rise in resurrection life and then those who are alive and remain (third category) also are changed and arise to meet the Lord in the air?

1 Corinthians 15:51, Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Many prophecy teachers have locked themselves into their own doctrines, which oftentimes is based more on a teaching of a beloved instructor and his assumptions about what he thinks the Bible says instead of literally going from what the Bible actually says. Now I’m not saying with any kind of adamance that any of what I’m proposing is 100 percent. I cannot. I’m simply going off what the patterns of the Bible teach to come up with logical scenarios and conclusions that reconcile the gaps in our current beliefs. All I can say is that over and over again Aaron and the Levites are serving a very difficult prophetic role.

I’m also saying we have to reconcile why Satan is still in heaven after the resurrection and ascension of Yeshua to heaven. And why is he then cast down to earth at the very time the man-child (144,000) appear to ascend. It also answers why Satan then goes after the “remnant of her seed” and not the 144,000. In fact, I challenge any theologian to give a biblical answer of what the 144,000 actually do on earth during the tribulation. Good luck with that. Also, why you have at least 2 “fellow servants of the prophets (men)” that are in heaven during the Great Tribulation administering the Vengeance of God.

This might also explain why Aaron remains a High Priest even after making the Golden Calf, rejecting the sin offering, and speaking against Moses. It might also explain why Aaron goes out of Egypt to the mountain of God to meet Moses before they both return to deliver Israel from Egypt.

Exodus 4:27, And the Lord said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.

There are a number of logical contradictions about the sequence of events that happen in the book of Revelation that are remedied if you place the request for someone to open the 7 sealed book prior to the resurrection of Yeshua, the opening of the first 6 seals prior to Daniel’s 70thweek, and then Daniel’s 70th week opening with the 7thSeal, the appearance of the Two Witnesses and their 1260 day prophecy, and the resurrection of the 144,000 in heaven serving as Satan and his angels’ replacements in the Heavenly Sanctuary with Yeshua. Then we start to see consequential events here on earth and in the heavens.

Luke 21:25, And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

The question I have is, can you have the 2 Witnesses giving their 1260-day prophecy during the first half of the tribulation administering the 7 Trumpets as a call to the world to repent without a counterpart in the heavenly sanctuary such as the 144,000? I would suggest a study on the 144,000 and you will find it to be very short. They just don’t seem to appear here on earth. But the book of Revelation seems to be laid out to show the gradual revelation of the Martyrs under the Altar complaining to God, God’s response, their clothing, the revealing of the fate of their murderers at the 6th seal, their crowning as Priests with the name of Yehova upon their foreheads, and their full count established as 144,000 first fruits. Then the destiny of the “remnant of her seed” (the great multitude) is either as context to show what happens next and what she came out of or their resurrection also before the opening of the 7th Seal and the start of Daniel’s 70th week. Why I don’t currently endorse the view that she (“remnant of her seed”, the great multitude) is resurrected prior to the 70th week is that the world would not be so shocked and surprised (if the 144,000 and the Great Multitude are resurrected 7 years before the Coming of Christ) by the resurrection and ascension of the Two Witnesses.

Revelation 11:12, And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Who would be afraid if two more prophets are resurrected after the world would have seen the resurrection and ascension of the dead and believers in Yeshua? I’d be rather jaded by then. So, either the 144,000 are truly martyrs and under God’s altar and therefore their resurrection in not able to be viewed by the world, or their resurrection is at the same time as the dead in Christ and immediately after those who are alive in Christ are changed and ascend.

Why have I taken the time to going through all the possibilities? Because it is very possible our current beloved assumptions are not fully scriptural and need to become fully biblically compliant. Am I saying I have all the right answers? No. I’m limited just like you. But we need to make sure we are asking the right questions otherwise Yeshua’s coming will likely be a surprise to the uniformed.

Two other logical contradictions we have to face are time markers in the Book of Revelation. For those who deny that the first seals could have been broken 2,000 years ago let’s remember what the Angel told John.

Revelation 1:1, The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Shortly either means “shortly” or it doesn’t. So, some of these things had to come about shortly after John was given this book to write on the Isle of Patmos around anywhere from 68 AD to 96 AD. I will not go into any of the arguments here, but simply to say some of what John was given had yet to occur and “shortly”.

Additionally, we have to face the question of the Martyrs under the altar at the 5thSeal clearly complaining that God has not handed out vengeance for those who killed the martyrs. Additionally, they are given their white garments before any vengeance (7 Last Plagues/vials) is handed out by God

Revelation 15:1, And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

For Post-Tribulation Rapture theorists, this places at least some of the resurrection before Pre-Wrath and possibly before the 7 Trumpets (not wrath as they are not the seven “last” plagues).

For Pretribulation Rapture believers it is clear that the first 5 Seals are broken before any kind of resurrection for any grouping. The only question is if white garments are considered a reward or simply salvific clothing, whereas the crowning could come later. I’m not positing any conclusive idea. I’m simply brining forward the possibility that the resurrected could receive a resurrection garment and it not be part of his or the saints/prophets’ reward, which clearly comes at the 7th Trumpet. After all, if my theory is correct, you could have the martyrs under the altar resurrected (without our earthly knowledge), given their garments, and told to wait a little while longer while the rest of the 144,000 martyrs of the tribes of Israel are completed. Then they are all crowned, have the name of God placed upon their foreheads, and take up their service in the Heavenly temple – all without anyone on earth knowing. Hence how you could come to the end of time and still be caught unaware (Matthew 25).

Now let’s go to the Great Multitude, which is also shown after the time of the numbering of the 144,000.

Revelation 7:8, Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. 9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

My initial proposal is that these are shown after the 144,000. They are not at the same time or the same group. That is why I am firm in saying the 144,000 is likely genealogically Israel…yet believers in Yeshua. It is my assumption the Elder who asks John who this group is…is for the purpose of setting up the scenario of events that are portrayed in the rest of the book explaining what they went through and how they came to be here. Once this group is identified, all the remaining chapters explain the Great Tribulation. Some would like to say, why aren’t they resurrected just like the 144,000 before the 7-year Great Tribulation? I would say because they were alive through the Great Tribulation and were not among the martyrs of the 144,000 of Israel. First fruits come first…then the remnant later.

In order to move the resurrection of this Great Multitude to before the Final 7 years of Daniel’s prophecy would mean you would have to call the past 2,000 years “Great Tribulation” even though it was only the opening of the first 4 seals. I find any kind of observable resurrection and ascension would show a major reaction from the population of the world like you see with the Two Witnesses. You don’t see that kind of reaction anywhere prior to their resurrection or again until the resurrection of those alive in Christ at His coming.

Hence if the 144,000 are resurrected prior to Daniel’s 70th week or at latest the casting down of Satan to the earth…you find no reaction from the general populace to their marking or resurrection. That would appear to explain why the angel announcing their marking is ascending and not descending to do the job. He has to go to heaven to anoint them and put the Priestly crown upon their heads to take Satan and his angel’s role in the Heavenly Sanctuary.

What is the fate of wayward Levi?

Malachi 3:1, Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. 2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: 3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

What is the fate of Satan and his angels?

Revelation 20:10, And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Uncanny similarities. In short, the heavenly sanctuary needed to be cleansed. Why? It seems to have had a High Priest that refused to intercede in mercy. His priesthood needed to be removed from the sanctuary and from heaven. He needs to be purified and his angels replaced by a better priesthood – the 144,000. They are identified by laying down their lives interceding for others who need to hear the good news of the Kingdom of God.

Satan is emblematic of the Torah (Law) without grace. It brings death to the sinner without mercy, without hope. Yeshua is emblematic of the Law (Written Torah) written in the heart with mercy and abundant grace. There was a need for a new administration so that we could pass from death to life.

Romans 7:10, And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death.

John 5:24, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

This is why all people, Jew and Gentile, must come under the administration of Yeshua the Messiah, the resurrected administrator of the Resurrected Covenant.

Hebrews 7:16, Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
