Theistic Evolution, Gap Theory, Supersessionism, & Historical Criticisim All Have the Same Foundational Error!
This article is going to methodically dismantle the unscriptural error of Theistic Evolution that many congregations have adopted out of their love of University Scholarship and Peer Review over the love of the Bible and the Word of God. Theistic Evolution is Scripturally incompatible with the Bible and is easily dismantled if you have a clear understanding of the fractal of “Seed” (Death) and “Manifested Fruit” (Resurrection). This is what happens when you worship Peer Scholarship over the actual written Word of God. Many pretended University Biblical Scholars over the past hundred years were actually False Teachers leading astray the flock of God from Natural and Biblical Truth. If you get Genesis 1 and 2 wrong, you also end up teaching that you have two separate groups writing the Torah, the YHWH (ists) and the Elohim (ists). Then consequently you end up confused about Israel’s exile and return in the End-time…and end up teaching that the Church is a substitution for Israel.
Supersessionism, also called replacement theology or fulfillment theology[1] is a Christian theology which asserts that the New Covenant through Jesus Christ has superseded or replaced the Mosaic covenant exclusive to the Jews. Supersessionist theology also holds that the universal Christian Church has succeeded ancient Israel as God’s true Israel and that Christians have succeeded the ancient Israelites as the people of God. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supersessionism)
Consequently, you also end up not understanding why Yeshua has been hidden away like a “seed” for two thousand years…only to burst forth in the Book of Revelation (Manifestation) in the End-time. And because you don’t understand the pattern of death (first) then resurrection (second) you won’t understand why the Antichrist (False Prophet) has to precede our gathering together to the Lord in the End-time. That results in the false teaching of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture. So, if your ego survived the onslaught of this introduction without being offended in Christ…you may survive long enough to understand the simple pattern that resolves all of these False Teachings and may help spare you from being one of the 5 Virgins who Yeshua turns to in the End-Time and declares…. “I know you not!”
Let’s proceed by having a man of the soil tear down the faulty foundations of the lofty chambers of the incestuous University Peer Review doctors and scholars that pose as accredited Theologians and Creation Scientists.
Peer review is the evaluation of work by one or more people with similar competencies as the producers of the work (peers). It functions as a form of self-regulation by qualified members of a profession within the relevant field. Peer review methods are used to maintain quality standards, improve performance, and provide credibility. In academia, scholarly peer review is often used to determine an academic paper‘s suitability for publication. Peer review can be categorized by the type of activity and by the field or profession in which the activity occurs, e.g., medical peer review. It can also be used as a teaching tool to help students improve writing assignments. (Wikipedia)
In short, Peer Review keeps the unwashed (with unapproved ideas) masses out and the elite in. Psychologically, it is a self-reinforcing delusion when it abandons the truth of the natural order and Science’s principal goal of accurately reflecting the pattern of nature thereby drawing accurate conclusions. The modern axiom of “Follow the Science” no longer works when the Scientist no longer follows the pattern of nature. Instead, a lie and a deception are self-reinforced by a body of people that only allow published material that conforms to the founding ideas of the group. Those outside the group are “not worthy” and are subjected to a psychological guilt trip that forces submission and conformance rather than encouraging objective search for yet undiscovered truth.
This is the way of the lawless and the leftist. The Church has been naive of this infiltration of its bastions of truth that were formerly Christian in nature…Universities, Colleges, and Science Institutions. Just as we have fake Christians today and RINO’s (Republicans in Name Only) that are really Democrats in belief but clothed in Republican garb…decades…even a hundred years ago our Christian Universites were taken over by the Lawless Left that taught unbiblical ideas posing as Christian Theological Professors. They conspired to hide archaeology that did not support Evolution or the historical accuracy of Israel or the validity of the authorship of the Bible.
You wonder why Science can’t figure out what a woman is…this is how we got here. It is time to throw these wolves in sheep’s clothing out of our Churches and out of our universities and out of our social groups. You wonder why your Children keep leaving the Faith. It’s your fault. You gave your children to these Universities and didn’t guard their minds from the lies that are willfully propagated there. You were told to come out from among these people and you keep going to them for approval.
Michael Heiser one of the more recent darlings of university produced Theologians is a perfect example of the snobbery of Peer Review. This is on his contact page.
“My time for research is unfortunately quite limited. Consequently, I read only peer-reviewed academic material. There’s simply no time for anything else.” (Michael Heiser Contact Page)
Well intended or not, the result is the same. Join the cult or don’t be heard. Heiser has several YouTube videos where he talks with “peer reviewed” scholars promoting completely unbiblical Theistic Evolution ideas. The interview is embarrassing to watch as the genuflecting to popular approved university concepts about Theistic Evolution (Gap Theory) go completely unchallenged as he is evidently trying to help the interviewee to sell his book. Dr. Heiser completely fails to serve the truth of the Bible.
This Gap Theory is often taught in conjunction with the YHWH(ist) vs Eloh(ist) Theory of Biblical authorship by these same peer reviewed scholars and is used to undermine the credibility of the source of the scriptures and its clear and factual history. It attempts to turn the Creation Event, Noah’s Flood, Israel, and the Bible into “myths” instead of actual events.
One can see examples of these different sources when comparing similar biblical stories. For example, the Creation myth of Genesis 1:1 has God/Elohim create the world, then Genesis 2:5–25 has God/Yahweh make the world; these two Creation myths differ from each other on both substantive and stylistic issues. There are other places in which the biblical narrative covers the same ground two or more times. For example, in Genesis there are three stories in which a patriarch fools a foreign king about the status of the patriarch’s wife, claiming her instead to be his sister. This event is reported between Abraham and Pharaoh over Sarah (12:10–20), with Abraham and Abimelekh over Sarah (20:2–18), and with Isaac and Abimelekh over Rebekah (26:1–11). Moreover, there are two Flood stories in Genesis 7: in the first only certain animals (e.g., seven pairs of clean animals and seven pairs of birds) are brought onto the Ark (Genesis 7:2–3), while in the second all living animals are brought in pairs to the Ark (Genesis 7:8–9 and 7:14–16). These and other indications have persuaded biblical scholars that there are four strands interwoven in the Pentateuch: the Yahwist, Elohist, Deuteronomist, and Priestly—hence J, E, D, and P. (https://www.britannica.com/topic/Yahwist-source)
Historical criticism, also known as the historical-critical method or higher criticism, is a branch of criticism that investigates the origins of ancient texts in order to understand “the world behind the text”.[1] While often discussed in terms of Jewish and Christian writings from ancient times, historical criticism has also been applied to other religious and secular writings from various parts of the world and periods of history. The primary goal of historical criticism is to discover the text’s primitive or original meaning in its original historical context and its literal sense or sensus literalis historicus. The secondary goal seeks to establish a reconstruction of the historical situation of the author and recipients of the text. That may be accomplished by reconstructing the true nature of the events that the text describes. An ancient text may also serve as a document, record or source for reconstructing the ancient past, which may also serve as a chief interest to the historical critic. In regard to Semitic biblical interpretation, the historical critic would be able to interpret the literature of Israel as well as the history of Israel.[2] In 18th century Biblical criticism, the term “higher criticism” was commonly used in mainstream scholarship[3] in contrast to “lower criticism“. In the 21st century, historical criticism is the more commonly used term for higher criticism, and textual criticism is more common than the loose expression “lower criticism”.[4] (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_criticism)
How can we resolve all of these popular yet false teachings? Follow the actual and natural scriptural pattern…don’t try and change it.
The natural pattern of God and His universe is always the same, “seed then fruit (image/manifestation)”. This is why the end-times are focused on choice between the Image of God and the Image of the Beast. The time for seed has passed and now the time for the manifestation of those seeds into images is about to occur. Often there is confusion about why there are two creation chapters, one in Genesis 1 and another in Genesis 2. Few understand what they are seeing. Some think Genesis 2 is just a retelling of Genesis 1 with some unexplainable differences. Many claim this leaves the Bible open for Higher Criticism. Let’s clear up the confusion. It all starts with a fractal (pattern) of seed then manifested image.
Genesis 2:5, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
It is only after the watering on the 7th day Sabbath that all seeds begin to grow and man receives the breath of life and becomes a living soul with flesh.
Genesis 2:6, But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the Tree of Life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
How can this be? All things were made in Genesis 1, right? Notice the key words! Genesis 2 shows YHWH “forming” all flesh/manifest images. Genesis 1 shows Elohim making all “seed”.
Genesis 1:11, And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Notice the focus is on Elohim creating seed bearing plants. We must reconcile this with Genesis 2. The seeds are created in Genesis 1, but as Genesis 2 states, none of those seeds have grown until YHWH causes a mist to come up from the face of the ground on the 7th day Sabbath in Genesis 2.
Genesis 2:5, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
What about the rest of Genesis 1? Throughout Genesis 1, we see the name of “El” being used. God always uses the name “El” when He is dealing with the promised seed and the multiplicity of seed in secret or in hiding (for example: exile, Egypt, or wilderness).
Notice the seeds are hidden in the earth and do not form flesh until Genesis 2 when YHWH (Lord God) causes the watering of the earth. Water is also synonymous with breath of the Almighty. In Genesis 2 we see the seeds in the earth watered and grow and we see Adam given the breath of the Almighty (water of life). The name YHWH also appears later when the LORD (YHWH) promises to deliver the land of Israel to Abraham’s descendants. We see the name YHWH again when He delivers Israel’s descendants (flesh) from the wilderness (exile) and into the Promised land.
Exodus 1:5, And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.
These living souls (seed producing flesh) need YHWH to deliver them from bondage (death) to the land of promise (incorruptible life).
Exodus 6:3, And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH (YHWH) was I not known to them.
The name “EL” is used for the causation of the hidden multiplication of “seed”, and the name YHWH is used for the causation of the deliverance/formation of manifestation (image/flesh/fruit). Abram had El’s promise of multiplicity of seed and Abram experienced God through the promise of multiplicity.
God reveals Himself to man through various names and each name has meaning and significance. He is always communicating with us, but we are not always able to understand what He is saying. It is up to us to be an active participant in our redemption and come out of sin so that we can come to the point of hearing the voice of YHWH.
In Exodus, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob begins to reveal Himself to the children of Israel in a way that He had not done with their forefathers. He has brought about His promise of multiplicity of seed and now He is working to deliver their flesh to the Promised land. Hence God (Adonai) switches from using the name El which is associated with the promise of multiplicity of hidden seed (in Egypt), and starts using the name YHWH fulfilling the promise to deliver the seed’s flesh (images) to the promised land.
Exodus 6:2, And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord: 3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH (YHWH) was I not known to them. 4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.
YHWH is telling the children of Israel that He is going to reveal or manifest Himself to them by the Name of YHWH and by all that the name means. Now it is clear that the promises that were made to Abram and Jacob were given in two names of God: El Shaddai (El, Elohim) and YHWH (Lord). It is the same pattern of seed (El) then manifestation of flesh (YHWH)! This provides added significance to the deliverance presented in Exodus 34 of the manifestation of the Name of YHWH as the new administrator of the Resurrected Covenant. It also clarifies why Yeshua is the manifestation of His name when He came to the earth to save our fallen and corruptible minds and bodies. Our fallen and broken images are restored by His new seed as the Image of God and that image is placed upon our image (countenance).
Matthew 23:39, For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the Name of the Lord (YHWH).
Every time you see the word “Lord” it is actually using the name YHWH.
Genesis 15:4, And, behold, the word of the Lord (YHWH-Strong’s 3068) came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. 5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. 6 And he believed in the Lord (YHWH); and he counted it to him for righteousness. 7 And he said unto him, I am the Lord (YHWH) that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. 8 And he said, Lord God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
Notice the focus of this passage is the promise of inheritance of the promised land. God promises the land to Abraham’s descendants in the Name of YHWH (Lord). So, Abraham knew the name YHWH. When God promises to Abram the multiplicity of seed, He makes His promises via the name El Shaddai.
Genesis 17:1, And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God (El Shaddai-Strong’s 7706); walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
Let’s recap seed then flesh in regard to God’s promises to Abraham.
Notice:
· The covenant with Abram and his descendants included great multiplicity of seed/descendants and the promise of the inheritance of the Promised land. When God promises multiplicity of seed, He uses a derivation of the name El, as in El Shaddai or Elohim (Genesis 1).
· When God promises the deliverance of the land He uses YHWH-Lord-(Genesis 2).
· The creation and promise of seed is hidden and the deliverance of the land is out in the open for all to see (revealed and manifested).
· Conception (hidden) then birth (revealed/manifested).
· Seed then manifestation (image/flesh).
· Exile then return to the land.
· Womb then birth.
· Descend (Egypt) then ascend (Promised Land).
You see the same patterns of God working His mighty hand in the events of the world. The Book of Esther is a great example of God operating in hiding but moving His will in the events of the world. Not once is God’s name mentioned in the Book of Esther, but His will is manifest throughout.
The Book of Esther is about the preservation of the seed of Israel while hidden in exile under bondage to Persia. The seed is in Diaspora or hiding. The miracles seem to occur as a part of natural events. Other nations cannot tell that these are God’s people. Dispersed Israel is very similar to Joseph in Egypt. Even his brothers could not tell he was not Egyptian but really was of their own seed. He was hidden so that their eyes could not see him.
Genesis 42:8, And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him.
Abraham did have YHWH’s promise of deliverance of his seed’s flesh, but that name was to be known or directly experienced by his seed’s flesh and not by his own flesh.
Genesis 22:8, And Abraham said, My son, God (Elohim-Strong’s 430) will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. 9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. 11 And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen. 15 And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Just as Isaac is a prophetic type of the Messiah, he had to bear the same imagery of the death of a seed so that the second part of the fractal of death and resurrection could be fulfilled. We see that Isaac is directly associated by Paul with “the seed of promise”.
Romans 9:7, Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
And as a prophetic type of the “seed of the woman” that would be the Messiah, he must also fulfill the imagery of a seed death, only to be replaced by the true image of the seed, the Messiah (a lamb).
Hebrew 11:17, By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
We see God (Elohim) providing the lamb (image or seed of YHWH) and we then see the fleshly appearance of the seed as the lamb in the mount of the Lord (YHWH). Again, the pattern is seed then manifestation (flesh). Take note of the name Jehovahjireh in Genesis 22:14.
· Jehovah–jireh = Jehovah sees, proper locative noun
· It is through Yeshua’s flesh that YHWH sees us. Remember it was after Adam and Eve fell, lost their proper covering and became naked that YHWH was not able to locate them and had to call out, “Where are you”. YHWH subsequently had to cover them with a temporary covering, a (tabernacle or sukkot) which is made from that which grows from the earth.
o Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. 9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
· Israel makes 42 journeys in the wilderness (exile/hiding) in temporary dwellings until they enter the Promised land (incorruptible flesh–a redeemed covering). The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) commemorates this journey in temporary dwellings.
o Leviticus 23:42, Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: 43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
Let’s do a quick review on the name of El and the name of YHWH. There is a connection between the Name of “El” and seed, which is a picture of a temporary shelter, being in exile and a state of hiding and multiplication. The Name of YHWH is a picture of manifestation or flesh/fruit (image) as something permanent and incorruptible, which is a picture of receiving the Promised land and being revealed (ascending in resurrection life).
Name of Elohim:
· Genesis 1, Genesis 17, and Exodus 1
· It bears the hallmarks of blessing and multiplicity of the promised seed in hiding.
o Exodus 1:18, And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive? 19 And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them. 20 Therefore God (Elohim-Strong’s 430) dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty.
· The Name of “El” and seed is a picture of a temporary shelter, being in exile and a state of hiding and multiplication.
Name of YHWH:
· Genesis 2, Genesis 15, Genesis 22, and Exodus 6
· Deliverance of the flesh (image) of the promised seed.
· The Name of YHWH is a picture of manifestation or flesh/fruit/image as something permanent and incorruptible, which is a picture of receiving the Promised land and being revealed.
If we know that Genesis 2 shows YHWH forming Adam’s flesh (image) we can then see that El is making Adam and the plant and animal seeds (DNA) in Genesis 1.
Genesis 1:20, And God (Elohim-Strong’s 430) said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
MESSIAH BEN JOSEPH & MESSIAH BEN DAVID:
Many Jews reject Yeshua as Messiah because of their claim that He did not regather the lost ten tribes of Israel and reunite the Kingdom of Israel and Judah (all the sons of Jacob). As such they feel He disqualified Himself as being the Messiah. Rabbinical literature proposes two separate Messiahs, one a picture of suffering and death and one a picture of victory and resurrection power.
Finally, there must be mentioned a Messianic figure peculiar to the rabbinical apocalyptic literature—that of Messiah ben Joseph. The earliest mention of him is in Suk. 52a, b, where three statements occur in regard to him, for the first of which R. Dosa (c. 250) is given as authority. In the last of these statements only his name is mentioned, but the first two speak of the fate which he is to meet, namely, to fall in battle (as if alluding to a well–known tradition). Details about him are not found until much later, but he has an established place in the apocalypses of later centuries and in the midrash literature—in Saadia’s description of the future (“Emunot we–De’ot, ” ch. viii. ) and in that of Hai Gaon (“Ṭa’am Zeḳenim, ” p. 59). According to these, Messiah b. Joseph will appear prior to the coming of Messiah b. David; he will gather the children of Israel around him, march to Jerusalem, and there, after overcoming the hostile powers, reestablish the Temple–worship and set up his own dominion. Thereupon Armilus, according to one group of sources, or Gog and Magog, according to the other, will appear with their hosts before Jerusalem, wage war against Messiah b. Joseph, and slay him. His corpse, according to one group, will lie unburied in the streets of Jerusalem; according to the other, it will be hidden by the angels with the bodies of the Patriarchs, until Messiah b. David comes and resurrects him. (comp. Jew. Encyc. i. 682, 684 [§§ 8 and 13]; comp. also Midr. Wayosha’ and Agadat ha–Mashiaḥin Jellinek, “B. H.” i. 55 et seq. , iii. 141 et seq. )
It is clear that this rabbinic tradition arises since they see the pattern of death and resurrection presented in the Torah: death as a seed and resurrection as a manifested fruit. Instead of seeing the fulfillment of both in the singular Messiah Yeshua, they apply each part of the fractal to a separate individual Messiah. We can see that Yeshua made it incredibly clear that He would fulfill both parts of the fractal and uses specific terminology that relates to the seed and the harvest of the manifestation of the fruit of that seed. Within the delayed time gap of this growth period, He remains hidden as the seed of the Kingdom of God, until the point of manifestation and harvest of its fruit. When it appears, so does He.
Matthew 13:3, And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; … 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. 10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. …14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. … 18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. … 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also…. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Yeshua is clearly presenting the work of the Messiah as sowing seed that must wait and grow in hiding (exile) and be given the time to manifest (reveal) its fruit. Then He sends forth the reapers. The Jews reject Yeshua as the Messiah because they expected an immediate fulfillment of the seed and the fruit, but as the fractal presents itself in nature there is a built-in time lapse that requires a hiding of the seed, time to pass, growth to occur and then a reaping at the harvest time. Harvest does not occur at the time of sowing but according to the images, patterns, and fractals of God. We must look to the seasons for our prophetic pattern. The fractal of seed (death and sorrow) and manifested fruit (resurrection life) and joy is built into the design of the universe.
Psalm 126:5, They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
As those who have expressed faith in the Messiah Yeshua, we should be fulfilling the same fractal and image that He fulfilled. He gives us the express command to do what He did during His ministry. We are to fulfill the role of the Sower.
· Matthew 24:13, But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
· Mark 16:15, And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.
· Matthew 28:18, And Yeshua came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Once this work and fractal has been completed and the manifestation of that sowing has occurred, then the second part of the fractal of seed and fruit will commence, the reaping.
Revelation 14:5, And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
By all accounts the delayed time gap between Yeshua’s first coming and His second coming will bear the imagery of hiddenness, suffering, and death like a seed, only to break forth in the end like a manifested and resurrected fruit. Yeshua makes it clear that the timing of that “season” is completely up to God the Father and only He knows when it will be.
Matthew 24:30, And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. 32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Notice Yeshua presents His second coming with the imagery of a seed manifesting its image as the “branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves”. This is not a coincidence. He further clarifies that the “day and the hour” of these events are known only to the Father. This question is so important to the disciples that they ask Him again after His resurrection if now was the time.
Acts 1:6, When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Notice the disciples connect the “coming of the son of man in power” with the restoration of the Kingdom to Israel. They are wondering if His comments from Matthew 24 are being fulfilled and if the new season has arrived. Yeshua gives the same answer as before and indicates the fulfillment of that day will occur in its “season” and that only the Father knows when that season is. We should ask why is it that only the Father knows when this season is?
1 Corinthians 3:7, So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
The end will come when the fruit is fully manifested from the seed and God has increased it to the point of being harvested.
James 5:7, Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Let’s not assume that these are random references to the “seasons”, but that they are very meaningful and should give us insight into what season we are in. It should also give us the pattern and fractal of our hope in Christ!
1 Corinthians 15:36, Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds…42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Just as the Messiah bears the imagery of death and resurrection, so will those who express faith in His work. The angels affirm that both the death and resurrection fractal occur within a singular Messiah, not in two.
· Acts 1:11, Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. 12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.
· Matthew 24:30, And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
The critical question on the lips of the Apostles at the time of Yeshua’s resurrection was the timing of the Kingdom of God, is it now or is it later? Notice how Yeshua answers the question in relation to the imagery of the seasons of nature and what they should be doing in the appropriate season.
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Yeshua, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
The Apostles are told very plainly that they need to focus on their appropriate season of sowing the word (seed) of God, fulfilling the same fractal and image that Yeshua initiated in His first coming. After the season of sowing, hiding, and death, when fullness and maturation has come to the fruit of the seed, then the same Messiah will return and fulfill the season and imagery of reaping and resurrection of the fruit. Just as the Messiah ascended in resurrection, so will those that conform to His image and fractal. The delay is designed by God according to the appropriate work and imagery of its season. Judah’s inability to see this fractal is one of the major obstacles to accept the Messiah Yeshua. This blindness is directed by God and will be lifted in its season.
· Romans 11:1, I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
· Romans 11:7, What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. 8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. …10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?…15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
· Romans 11:25, For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved:… 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
Notice all of the thematic connections:
· The casting away of Israel is temporary (casting a seed in death/exile).
· God intentionally blinded part of Israel so that the Gentiles might be brought in.
· The receiving of Israel once again will coincide with the resurrection of the dead (ascension like a manifested fruit).
· God has kept in mystery the blindness of Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in, then all Israel will be saved.
· Both Jews and Gentiles are concluded as “one” under sin and as “one” under condemnation and death, fulfilling the fractal of death like a seed and then later the fractal of grace and abundant mercy, fulfilling the fullness of a fruit in resurrection life.
Just as Moses fulfilled the imagery of death and Elijah fulfilled the imagery of resurrection, the Messiah and those who bear His image will fulfill the imagery of death and resurrection. Just as the tablets of stone had to descend and ascend, we must also fulfill the same pattern. The sowing is the descending, and the reaping and fullness is the ascending. This is why the resurrection shows followers of Yeshua fulfilling the same imagery of ascension into the clouds at the resurrection of the dead.
1 Thessalonians 4:13, But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yeshua will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Now we can see why Elijah is a pattern of the end–time call to repentance and the necessity of his coming before the day of the Lord as Malachi 4 describes. We can also see why Moses as an image of death like a seed and exile from the land of Promise appears in conjunction with Elijah, who is a picture of resurrection and repentance and the call to return to the Law of Moses before Yeshua’s return. Elijah bears the hallmarks of resurrection!
1 Kings 17:17, And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him. 18 And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son? 19 And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed. 20 And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? 21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again. 22 And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived. 23 And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth. 24 And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth.
Elijah is thematically connected to resurrection and how it occurs, applying his own image upon the child and pleading with God to restore his soul to him. Elijah is cast in the end-time battle against the Antichrist. A messenger of the truth battling with the ultimate lie. The restorer of the Law of Moses battling with the Man of Lawlessness leading a great falling away from the truth of God. This battle has always been cast as lawlessness and iniquity vs obedience to the Law of God, death vs. life, denial of the flesh vs life of the spirit. This battle has moved from its seed form to its full-blown manifestation in the lives of fallen creation. Yeshua’s words are as true as ever, “Elias (Elijah) truly shall first come, and restore all things” (Matthew 17:11).
The Spirit of Elijah is coming to restore the true Image of God and ensure the destruction of the Image of the Beast. It is time for him to raise up the dead child and restore his life as God intended. You cannot attempt to understand the end-time battle that is about to ensue without understanding the necessity of the Law of Moses and its proper relationship to the administration of Grace. Those that would like a full briefing on this topic should read the book, “The Elijah Calling”. Before we move onto this end-time battle we need to make sure that we have a deep understanding of the Biblical fractals of seed then image. It will help us understand the prophetic patterns revealed in the end-time and what the Apostles meant by “the fullness of time” and the “fullness of the gentiles”.
As you can now see if this natural pattern is true in nature and the Bible…then nothing in Genesis 1 had yet manifested an image. God was creating the seeds of these things. None of them produce an image until the Seventh Day Sabbath when God waters the earth wherein the seeds that were made were hidden…only to manifest their fruits on the Seventh Day Sabbath. This makes it impossible to have Dinosaurs millions of years before man. They were all brought forth on the Seventh Day just like Adam. Yeshua clarifies the issue by simply declaring that there was no death before Adam’s sin.
Romans 5:12, Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Scholars…let’s use a little logic. There is no sin before Adam…and hence no death before Adam for the “World” …so no millions of years of gap between dead dinosaurs and Adam. The time is short Scholars…decide whom you will serve and choose a side. Serve the Truth or a lie…and reap the fruit thereof. Peer Review that…
