Why the Beast of Revelation 13: 1-10 is not the Antichrist and is not a Person! Correcting Doug Hamp’s Eschatological Errors…

If you are looking for a duo of the Antichrist and the False Prophet, you will be looking for a long time. There will only be one that will arrive. Many claim that the Beast is the Antichrist, but is that what the Bible actually says? The Bible uses the same pattern of Seed,Tree, and Fruit (Image) over and over again. It is the same with the Dragon (Seed), the Beast (Tree/Empire), and the False Prophet/Antichrist (Manifested Image/Fruit). 

How do we know this? It was the same for YHWH (Seed), Israel (Tree), and Jesus (Image/Fruit). This is the same pattern you find in Genesis 1-Seed, Genesis 2-Tree, and Genesis 3-Image/Fruit. Prophecy is hidden in the patterns/fractals of the Bible. The data given in the Bible is the same for thousands of years and still hidden from our understanding…it is our understanding of the fractal pattern that must be unlocked and unsealed. Only then can we clearly understand and organize the data given to us in the locked and sealed prophecy.

Many of our most cherished prophetic theories of the past 100 years have been wrong. Why? God sealed the prophecies given to Daniel until the End…not before. So, many of our current prophecy teachings are based on outdated and locked understandings of prophecy…they were still sealed when those theories were developed. We can still honor the faith of those well-intentioned teachers that came before us and also rededicate ourselves to listening solely to the scriptures preparing ourselves for the day that those prophetic patterns are unsealed by God. Has that day finally arrived?

God has given us the gift of “logical contradiction”. We can use this tool to decipher if the Beast of Revelation 13:1-10 is an Empire or a Person or both. It’s not hard to do. 

We know from 2 Thessalonians 2:3, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition…” that the person identified as the Antichrist by modern Christianity cannot be identified until this event occurs. Daniel talks about this same event.

Daniel 11:29, At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter. 30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. 31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. 

He addresses the timing of this event in the next chapter.

Daniel 12:11, And from the time thatthe daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

And previously when he wrote about the “Little Horn”.

Daniel 8:9, And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. 10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. 11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down. 12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

Here is the mistake that many people make in identifying the Antichrist as the Beast. Daniel 8 is very clear that the Antichrist (Little Horn) is not the Beast, he is a “little horn” on the Beast. Logic is at its best when it is simple and uncluttered. If the “Little Horn” (Antichrist) was the Beast it wouldn’t describe it as something “little” on the “Beast”. They are not one and the same. Hence the scriptures take the time to explain that there is both a “beast” and a “little horn” preceeded by other horns. What Daniel describes is an entity (Beast) that is active before the “little horn” (Antichrist/False Prophet) even arises. Hence the Beast exists before the Antichrist/False Prophet. 

Nelson Walters came out with a YouTube video this past week saying that because the “was and is not…but is yet to come” (Revelation 17:8) was “famous” or well-known and therefore had to be a person and not an empire. I can’t even begin to get into the logical flaws in his reasoning and presumptuous assumptions in those statements that are completely unbiblical in order for him to get through the mental gymnastics necessary to make his statement true. 

The Nephilim (Doug Hamp) crowd has gone off looking for aliens again instead of looking to the simplicity of the scriptures. The Antichrist does not need to change your DNA to corrupt you…all he needs to do is put you through the same test that Satan put Jesus (Yeshua) through. “You’re hungry…I’ll give you some bread…just bow to me” (Matthew 4:3). This is the essence of the Mark of the Beast and the context of the end-time…famine. No connection to the internet through brain implants need apply. No Borg Mind… “Resistance is useless”!

Revelation 13:15, And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

That is all it takes…nothing more. No ufos… No aliens… No Enlil… Don’t be caught up in “every wind of doctrine”, legends, fairytales, genealogies, etc.

Nelson Walters is insisting that the Beast of Revelation 13 is the Antichrist because when the Lamb speaking as a Dragon (Revelation 13:11-18) arrives he makes people worship the Beast in Revelation 13:1-10. 

Revelation 13:4, And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Notice carefully…the Beast is given power for 42 months before the Lamb speaking as a Dragon is revealed. Follow the timeline Daniel gave us. From the Abomination of Desolation until the Sanctuary is cleansed is 2300 days (some say evenings and mornings). Either way it’s at least 3 years. This length of time is clarified later in Daniel 12…we will get to that shortly. And the Beast has power for 42 months before the Abomination of Desolation occurs. That is 3 ½ years. The Antichrist cannot be the Beast otherwise everyone would know who the Antichrist is before the Abomination of Desolation occurs which would negate the testimony of Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2 stating that the Son of Perdition would not be revealed until the Abomination of Desolation and his sitting in the Sanctuary of God.

2 Thessalonians 2:1, Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

We know the Day of Christ and our gathering to him cannot occur until the Man of Sin be revealed (Son of Perdition). This does not happen until the Abomination of Desolation minimally 3 years before the end. Sorry pre-Tribbers.

The Son of Perdition is the Antichrist. The Antichrist is the Lamb speaking as a Dragon (False Prophet) doing miracles and forcing everyone to worship the prior Beast (Empire). Now Nelson Walters has told you repeatedly that the False Prophet (Lamb speaking as a Dragon) cannot be the Beast because he is making everyone worship the Beast. Hence the Beast is greater than the False Prophet. If that were true then we are greater than Jesus…for He makes those of the Synagogue of Satan to worship us!

Revelation 3:9, Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Again, the logic that the Beast is the Antichrist is flawed.

Why do so many people think there will be a duo of two people the Beast and the False Prophet? Easy…they are justified in how they mistakenly thought there would be two people. This is how God hides a mystery until the End. He includes the necessary data, but hides the pattern…even from His servants.

Daniel 12:9, And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. 13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Again, the time after the Abomination and the revealing of the Son of Perdition/False Prophet/Antichrist is at least 3 to 3 ½ years.

Prophecy teachers have hung the “duo of the Antichrist and the Beast” on these three scriptures:

Revelation 16:13, And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Revelation 19:20, And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 20:10, And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Each time we see three characters…just like before…the Dragon (Seed), the Beast (Tree/Empire) and the False Prophet who is the Son of Perdition/Antichrist (manifested fruit/image (of the Beast). People have assumed these are three people/individuals. They are not. That is why the False Prophet (Lamb Speaking as a Dragon) is focused on doing miracles and replicating his image in others. In the fruit is the seed you pass onto others.

Many people focus on “these both” were cast into the lake of fire and insist that this describes two people that are cast into the lake of fire. But if we follow Daniel’s prophecies related to the Beasts, he clearly identifies these Beasts as empires…not people over and over again. And the Beast of Revelation 13:1-10 is clearly composed of parts of other empires…for example a Leopard having the feet of a Bear. We cannot have our identification run both ways. You cannot be both an empire and a king when the prophecy links the king to the horn and not the Beast…though some would try and fudge it instead of fixing their Eschatology.

Revelation 21:8, But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Here we see there are more than two that will be given to the fire. It will be the Antichrist (False Prophet, the Dragon, and all their followers (Beast Empire). If the Beast of Revelation 13:1-10 and Daniel 7 are one and the same…the Beast cannot be anything but an Empire composed of many people.

Daniel 7:7, After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. 8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. 9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. 10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. 11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

Notice Daniel points out that he watched this Beast (Empire) for a long time…even until the end when the judgment occurs by God. This is not a person he is watching…this is an empire. If you are looking for a person…look for a horn…not a beast. Notice Daniel is categorizing an empire as a “his” and a singular identity. So logically you can have a duo in the lake of fire, The False Prophet/Antichrist (King) and his Empire (the Beast) composed of many followers who are… “fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars” (Revelation 21:8). We are the Body of Christ and the Beast is the Body of the False Prophet…the seed of the Dragon.

Remember the significance of the coming of Christ and its opposition. Christ comes as a lamb and the False Prophet comes as a Lamb speaking as a Dragon (Revelation 13:11). Christ came doing miracles and so does the False Prophet with “Lying Wonders” (2 Thessalonians 2:9, Revelation 13:13-14). Christ came bringing life to the dead and the False Prophet comes bringing death to those who refuse the Mark of the Beast (Revelation 13:15). Christ came to free you from mammon (Matthew 6:24) and the False Prophet/Antichrist comes to enslave you to money.

So again, there is not a duo of the Beast (Antichrist) and the False Prophet. There is a restored empire (Beast) and its final manifested leader, the Lamb speaking as a Dragon, otherwise known as the Son of Perdition, the Antichrist, or the False Prophet.

We know that Beast is not Rome.

Revelation 17:11, And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

How do we know this Beast is not Rome? John was writing at the time that Rome was ruling much of the known world in the Middle East and he clearly says this beast “is not” … it was…is not…but will be. So, it cannot be Rome, it cannot be the Roman Catholic Church…for it can’t be a “was” if it had not existed yet. It cannot be Europe. So, for all those trotting out the European flag with pictures of buildings looking like the Tower of Babel…you are looking in the wrong place. 

So, for all of you who have been confused for decades. Here is a simple Checklist…

The Harlot riding the Beast is not the Beast. It is different from the Beast in nature and embodiment.

The Beast is not a person.

The Antichrist is not a separate person from the False Prophet (Son of Perdition). It is two labels for the same person.

The Lamb Speaking as a Dragon is not an empire…it is the Antichrist/False Prophet (same person).

The Beast cannot be the Antichrist because the Beast is active and identifiable for 42 months before the Abomination of Desolation.

The False Prophet/Antichrist does not manifest himself until the Abomination of Desolation after 42 months of the Beast waging war.

The Beast will not do miracles…only 42 months later the False Prophet will do miracles and then and only then attempt to force the Mark of the Beast on the world.

Mystery Babylon is not a port city. The Bible clearly describes the many waters it functions on as being…people. (Revelation 17:1)

Revelation 17:15, And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

You cannot get much clearer than that. Mystery Babylon is not New York City, Europe, Rome, Neom, or Mecca. If you listen to those who insist there will be a duo of two people called the Beast and the False Prophet…you’ll end up just like the pre-Tribbers saying… “this can’t be the Mark of the Beast I haven’t been raptured yet”. Except you’ll be saying for the first 42 months of the Beast of Revelation 13 waging war… “This can’t be the Beast…there’s no Antichrist yet!”
