Prophetic Logistics: Israel vs Islam & the Al-Asqa Flood

The challenge of bringing together the logistics, timing, and motivations of end-time players is complex. Here are some things we should be looking for in the end. Remember Israel is tiny and narrow…a geographic logistical nightmare to defend. Its ability to fight a two front war can last only a matter of days. With terrorist groups in their own heartland challenging them from the north and the south and the center of the country, they cannot allow them to remain strong while also fighting Syria, Iran, Jordan, and Egypt from without. 

Lebanon and Syria are likely waiting for Israel to get bogged down in Gaza before attacking in force themselves. This means Israel may have to use tactical nukes either on its own or with the USA on one of those targets while the army tackles the other front. There are very few options for Israel that are not overwhelming for the enemy. This is what we see in Zephaniah right before the Day of the Lord.

Zephaniah 2: 1, Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; 2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you. 3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger. 4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up. 5 Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the Lord is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant. 6 And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks. 7 And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the Lord their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity. 8 I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border. 9 Therefore as I live, saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.

Notice the timing…this is immediately “before” the “Day of the Lord”. What do we see in connection to this timing? A warning to the meek of the earth to seek the Lord in repentance so that, if possible, they may be hid from the coming of the Day of the Lord. If these scriptures are depicting current events…then Gaza will become a complete desolation and there will be no inhabitants left in this territory. Also, the land of Moab will become a perpetual desolation. Whether that is because Israel uses nuclear weapons to defend herself or by other means, it is a multigenerational desolation for both of these lands.

Isaiah 17:1, The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. 2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them afraid. 3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the Lord of hosts. And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean. 5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.

It could be that Damasus is taken away from being a city during the time of harvest of corn. Now is that time. It appears that Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, and possibly Saudi Arabia attempt to destroy Israel. Prophetically we have to remember several key events that have a cascading effect. I’ll mention them here, but for the sake of brevity I won’t make note of all of the scriptures.

The key event of the Tribulation is the coming of the False Prophet (the Antichrist) who will force all to take the Mark of the Beast. He will cause the Temple sacrifices to cease and will present himself as god to the world. Prior to that event the Beast (Ottoman Islamic Empire) will be revived and for 42 months and will speak blasphemy against Yehova and against His sanctuary. Why? This is very specific and detailed language.

This Beast empire is formed of 10 Islamic nations who have given their kingdoms over to the Beast Empire probably because of Israel’s restarting the Temple Sacrifices in Jerusalem. They are obsessed with this singular fact and will war against the saints for 42 months. Prior to these sacrifices beginning Israel has to offer the Red Heifer sacrifice to purify the priests (Numbers 19) which requires a Red Heifer of 2 years of age. The Red Heifers Israel has found come of age this year. It is a running clock and they must be sacrificed before they are older than 3 years of age. How does this tie into current events?

Israel needs to gain victory over the Muslims within their own country to give enough ground so they can sacrifice without daily suicide attacks within Israel. Prophecy teachers say that there will be a Jewish Temple next to the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the temple mount during those 3 ½ years before the Antichrist shows up and causes the Abomination of Desolation. I think these prophecy teachers are being unrealistic. 

This massive terror attack by Hamas and Hezbollah was called “Al-Aqsa Flood” In retaliation for Israel starting to reassert their dominance on the Temple Mount. In fact, Israel’s new National Security Minister recently visited the temple mount. It was not happily accepted by Islamic nations.

In the immediate ensuing war Gaza and likely Damascus will be completely destroyed and possibly part of Jordan. Iran may also be on the receiving end of nuclear strikes either from Israel or the USA. The temple mount may be purged of the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Asqa Mosque and Muslims likely driven from the city as well. 

Israel cannot do daily sacrifices with the continual presence of Muslims in and around the city conducting daily terror attacks. That means this war will be unlike any we have seen in modern history. It will likely cause a massive purge of Muslims from Israel. The scriptures prophecy teachers rely on in the book of Revelation that talk about the courtyard being given over to the gentiles while the sacrifices occur on the temple mount presents an unlikely scenario with the current geopolitics. 

This driving of Muslims out of Israel proper or at the very least Jerusalem, Gaza, and Lebanon could give the motivating rationale for the scenario for 10 Islamic Kings to give their power over to the Beast for “one hour”. 

Revelation 13:1, And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Could it be that this great wound that was healed is the very events that are about to unfold right now? That one of the heads of the Beast is so wounded that this coalition is motivated to join together to avoid getting another such wound and to defeat the one who wounded it? 

This Beast is upset about the name of Yehova (YHWH) and His Tabernacle (Revelation 13:6). So, what motivated these 10 Kings to join together? The “wounding” could be the establishment of God’s name and His Tabernacle (daily sacrifices on the temple mount in Jerusalem) and the purge of Muslims from Israel or at the very least the Temple Mount. In the process Iran, Syria, or Jordan could be nuked…or all three. This would be a great wound. The Beast is coming for revenge after these events take place. Islam will not tolerate their removal from the Temple Mount and the offering of sacrifices to Yehova (YHWH).

What should we be looking for next?

· Gaza is left a complete desolation and the people are driven out of Israel and into Egypt or Jordan.

· Damascus and possibly part of Iran is nuked and their nuclear program is eliminated. This will leave the way clear for the Ottoman Turks (Gog of Magog) to establish the 10 Kingdom Beast that will retaliate for Islam’s loss of the Temple Mount and Israel’s purge or partial purge of Palestinians from the Land of Israel.

· Jordan may also be on the receiving end of nuclear strikes.

· The Red Heifer sacrifice will occur within the next year purifying the priests of the Jewish tabernacle/temple.

· Temple Sacrifices will commence after the Temple Mount is purged of Islamic presence. This will change Mid-Tribulation when the Beast has waged war with Israel for 42 months and the False Prophet causes the Abomination of Desolation with the killing of the Two Witnesses after their 1260 prophecy during the first half of the 7-year tribulation.

· Israel will flee into the wilderness and be protected by God for another 3 ½ years.

· During the first 3 ½ years (42 months) the Two Witnesses will give instruction to Israel and the world to repent and there will be no rain for those 1260 days. At the conclusion of their prophecy, the Beast will kill them and the world will rejoice for 3 days. Then the world will weep as the Two Witnesses are resurrected.

· I would surmise the “court of the gentiles” (Revelation 11:2) is referring to the second half of the tribulation when the Beast causes the Daily sacrifices to cease and the city and land of Israel is trampled by the Beast for 3 ½ more years.

We should be asking what happens to Russia and the USA that after these events occur during the harvest of 2023 that the “feet of the Bear (Russia)” joins the Ottoman Islamic Beast Empire and the USA has very little or no mention in the end time. Are both nations marginalized, mutually destroyed, or economically collapsed that neither have any ability to meddle in the middle east?

Some prophecy teachers suggest that the “covenant of the many” is referring to a covenant that Israel settles with the UN. I am not convinced of this argument. I think it is far more likely that this covenant is between the 10 kingdoms of the Beast.

Daniel 9:27, And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Some prophecy teachers say that the Antichrist makes a 7-year covenant with Israel so they can make sacrifices and the land Is divided (two state solution) and then after 3.5 years the antichrist breaks the covenant with Israel. I find most of this teaching to be unscriptural. Daniel 9 makes it quite clear that this covenant is between the nations who make up the Beast empire and the consequence of their covenant is the stated goal of causing the sacrifices to cease in the Tabernacle (sanctuary) of Yehova (YHWH). This was their motivation to join and the outcome is achieved after 42 months of waring with the saints (Israel).

The context is king. This would appear to be referring to the Antichrist/False Prophet making a covenant with those 10 Kings making up the Beast Empire.

Revelation 17:12, And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

Due to the geographic logistics, these destruction events may happen in 2023 and will likely happen quickly and overnight. One day we wake up and Damascus, Iran and Jordan may have been nuked. Gaza will be purged of all people. The Temple mount is purged and Israel has restarted sacrifices. Coincident with these events I fully expect the Two Witnesses to show up and start giving commands to the world. Most of the world…including Christians will not like it one bit. Many doubters about if there is a God will start to re-evaluate their commitment to such ideas. They won’t have much time to reconsider. But there will be uncontestable facts that will be undeniable.

The remaining Islamic nations will have found a new commitment to dedicate themselves to in order to destroy the one that gave them a “great wound”. This new commitment is called the Beast Empire. Wake up…there is no time left. The context of Zephaniah 2 is immediately before the “Day of the Lord”.

There are several popular teachings that prophecy teachers hold to that I simply do not see scripturally.

· I see no 7-year covenant that Israel makes with the Antichrist or the UN. This would identify the Antichrist before the mid-point of the tribulation which makes it unscriptural. (2 Thessalonians 2:2-4)

· I do not see a first seal antichrist making any peace treaty…nor do I see Babylon making a peace treaty. The only peace treaty I see is between the 10 Kingdoms that make up the Beast Empire (Daniel 9:27).

· I see no pre-tribulation rapture in scripture. Holding to such a belief turns the Chrisitan into a coward. This is your single greatest opportunity to give a testimony that is undeniable by current events. So instead of being like Christ wanting to save others…you would rather run?
