Why does the Western Church Demand a Pre-Tribulation Rapture?

The Christian Church of the western hemisphere demands a Pre-Tribulation Rapture…on a pathological level. They go so far as to use liberal and leftist psychological tactics like changing the definition of words and refusing to have dialog with those who disagree with their arguments. They even go so far as to say, “you aren’t saved and you won’t go in the rapture if you don’t believe in a pre-tribulation rapture”. These are the psychological ploys of the pathological. 

Just as the leftist church has redefined the definition of sex and male and female in order to welcome the LGBTQ+ crowd, the pre-tribulation prophecy teachers blatantly go against the teaching of the apostles in regard to the great falling away that comes before the coming of the Lord.

2 Thessalonians 2:1, Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Now the context of this scripture is incontrovertible, but the pre-tribulationists demand that the definition of the word “falling away” be changed to “catching away” as in the rapture. Now the context is really undeniable as Paul is telling them to not be afraid of false teachings supposedly coming from them saying that the believers “gathering together unto Him” wouldn’t occur until the “falling away first” occurs. 

The twisted logic of the leftist mental gymnastics requires that you both deny the plain grammar of those sentences and the clear definition of the word “falling away”. This is the same psychological tools used by leftists and liberals. If the plain meaning of male and female sex gets in the way…change the definitions….and refuse to talk with anyone who won’t use your definitions. 

Is it any wonder the whole western church has set up wolves in sheep’s clothing that state you are not a good loving Christian unless you accept their definitions and lawlessness? Christ was very clear in how the Church would be subverted, by those who pretend to be Christians and are not. 

Matthew 7:15, Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Notice Jesus is not talking about the lay people, He is talking about the leaders (prophets). Wake up. Stop following these people who are not Christians and demand that you adopt their philosophies. Why are you so interested in pleasing them?

So why does the Western Christian Church demand a Pre-Tribulation Rapture? It’s simple really. The USA…America’s great post WW2 empire of the USA proper, the United Kingdom, NATO, and the Middle East is not present in Daniel’s 70th Week. Even if you believe the Beast of Revelation 13 is not an Ottoman Islamic Empire and you think it is Europe…the USA proper has no mentionable influence documented in either the book of Daniel or Revelation. And if you believe that the USA is the Woman riding Mystery Babylon…then it still leaves the USA destroyed by the Beast at the beginning of its reign…. not the end.

Logically you don’t have many positive outcomes for the USA proper. Either the USA is a broken or destroyed power before Daniel’s 70thweek or early on. If you think the 7 seals occur within Daniel’s 70thweek it leaves the USA as a likely candidate for massive destruction early on in the tribulation. Not a satisfying outcome for Western Christianity…unless there is a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. 

The Western Church cannot psychologically fathom that their nations would be destroyed or broken before the Tribulation or early on. There is an upside here. No need for them to worry about taking the Mark of the Beast. That is supposed to be funny. Why can’t it happen? It just happened to Ukraine and a whole generation of young Christians have been slaughtered by their demonic overlords. They even hunt them down in the streets to make sure they “volunteer” for a war that is already lost. It’s not even the Tribulation yet and Mystery Babylon is making sure to kill as many Christians as possible.

Why is it possible that the Western nations are broken before the Tribulation? Revelation 13 and Daniel 7, 8 and 11 characterize a transition from a 3rd Beast to a 4th Beast in Daniel’s 70thweek. We suspect that the 4th Beast is an Ottoman Islamic Empire prophetically foreshadowed by Esau vs Jacob in the midst of “Jacob’s Trouble” (Jeremiah 30:7 and Genesis 32). 

Let’s use some simple logic. If the 4th Beast arises during Daniel’s 70th week or the End Time “Day of the Lord”, when do you think the 3rd Beast ended its reign? Several thousand years ago? Or right before the 4th Beast rises? Which Beast has been ruling for the past several thousand years? Any beast? No Beast? If Daniel is describing either the history of world empires or the end-time or some of both…prophecy teachers need to account for which beast has been ruling for the past several thousand years.

Daniel 8 is very simply a transition prophecy illustrating the transition from the 3rd Beast to the 4th Beast. Those who wish to interpret this Daniel 8 prophecy as only being historical are missing the point that the angel was making.

Daniel 8:16, And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision. 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. 18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright. 19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be. 20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia. 21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. 22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.

Will you believe popular prophecy teachers who have been repeatedly wrong over the past 70 years or will you believe the angel? This He Goat and Ram prophecy is “for at the time of the end shall be”. You cannot get any plainer. This transition prophecy is at the “end time” …not fulfilled solely by Alexander the Great several thousand years ago.

What does that mean? That the West as described by Daniel 8 as a whole is the 3rd Beast that has been ruling for the past several thousand years and their rule will end with this event destroying the power of Persia. 

“President Trump, a former builder, signed an executive order Monday intended to promote neo-classical architecture as the official style for federal buildings in Washington, DC., and at new federal courthouses elsewhere. The order defines “classical” as including Neoclassical, Georgian, Greek Revival, Gothic and other traditional styles. It also establishes a new President’s Council on Improving Federal Civic Architecture, which is intended to ensure proposed federal buildings are “beautiful and reflective of the dignity, enterprise, vigor, and stability of the American system of self-government.” The order cites ancient Greece, ancient Rome and language from the constitution of the Italian city of Siena in 1309 as preferred models. You can either attempt to define Grecia as Greece or Turkey proper or as Daniel 8 defines it as the “West” and as the inheritor of the Grecian empire. With this single event and the destruction of Persia (Iran) the West’s great horn (power) is broken into four and out of it the 4th Beast (Turkey-Islamic Empire) arises to power once again having its deadly wound healed. It doesn’t say if this He-Goat’s horn is broken by war, or financial catastrophe, or judgement of God. It simply says the great horn is broken and four notable horns rise up in its place and out of those 4 horns the Beast and the Antichrist arise. 

Do you really think that Turkey will destroy Iran, be broken into 4 pieces all of which are notable? Not likely. But if the USA destroys Iran, know this, the USA post WW2 empire will be broken one way or another and four horns will rise up in its place, one of which will be Turkey and an Islamic Ottoman Empire restored.

This scenario leaves the Western Church afraid and lacking faith…demanding a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. Not scripturally valid but psychologically demanded. At some point here the Pre-Tribulation Prophecy teachers will have one of two choices. Admit the truth, that the Pre-Tribulation Rapture theory is un-scriptural or say, “my lord delays his coming”.

Matthew 24:48, But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

Wake up Church!
